Pivot Sans is a permanent fork of Inclusive Sans 2.004, authored and
maintained by Beacon Bay Technologies, Inc. The original design is by Olivia
King and remains credited to the Inclusive Sans Project Authors. Pivot Sans is
distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

- Recorded Beacon Bay Technologies, Inc. as the Pivot Sans fork author and
  manufacturer, and https://pivotsans.com as its project/vendor URL. Retained
  Olivia King and the Inclusive Sans Project Authors as original design
  credits, with Olivia King's URL in the designer-URL field.
- Renamed the family to Pivot Sans, with independent version and unique-name
  metadata so it can coexist with Inclusive Sans.
- Added a standards-based OpenType `tnum` feature for ASCII digits 0-9 and the
  five currency symbols `$`, `£`, `¥`, `₹`, and `€`.
- Chose a single money slot across every supported digit and currency, upright
  and italic. Including the euro avoids inconsistent locale-specific behavior.
  Named-weight advances are 668, 660, 666, 671, and 677 units at wght
  300, 400, 500, 600, and 700 respectively.
- Built the 15 public tabular alternates as composite references to the
  original proportional glyphs, preserving their original outlines and weight
  variation. Added one internal heavy-dollar wrapper so upstream `rvrn`
  specialization remains active under `tnum`.
- Added encoded composite glyphs for U+2030 PER MILLE SIGN, U+2248 ALMOST
  EQUAL TO, U+2260 NOT EQUAL TO, U+2264 LESS-THAN OR EQUAL TO, and U+2265
  GREATER-THAN OR EQUAL TO. They reuse existing percent/degree, tilde, equal,
  slash, less/greater, and minus components. The unslashed degree circle is
  used for the third per-mille counter because the full-size zero is slashed.
  Composite-overlap and transformed-component offset flags are explicit for
  consistent behavior across rasterizers.
- Added disjoint `latin-core`, `latin-ext`, and `vietnamese` whitelist files,
  six variable WOFF2 subset outputs, and ready-to-use `unicode-range`
  declarations. Recalculated per-slice horizontal-header extrema after
  subsetting instead of retaining stale full-font maxima.
- Added custom static instances at wght 450 and 550 in upright and italic,
  produced with the fontTools variable-font instancer. Removed only dormant
  `rvrn` helper glyphs that cannot activate at those fixed positions.
- Added an interactive browser specimen covering all named and custom weights,
  italics, `tnum` on/off, `ss01`, money columns, composite symbols, locale
  slices, and static pins.
- Built the ten standard static fonts as direct overlays on the official
  Inclusive Sans 2.004 static binaries. This preserves official static metrics
  and positioning instead of regenerating them with a newer instancer.
- Recalculated static glyph and global bounding-box metadata while saving.
  This corrects stale upstream bounds in four intermediate styles without
  changing any upstream outline points.
- Corrected the italic variable font's name ID 25 to `PivotSansItalic`, keeping
  generated PostScript instance names distinct from the upright font.
- Raised OS/2.usWinAscent from 1150 to 1159. Inclusive Sans Bold reaches
  y=1159 in U+1EB2, so the inherited value could clip the top nine units in
  software that uses Windows metrics. The existing USE_TYPO_METRICS setting
  is retained.
- Added deterministic build timestamps, source and release SHA-256 manifests,
  a root OFL file, explicit authorship documentation, pinned dependencies,
  expanded regression tests, full and subset web CSS, a visual proof, and a
  reproducible release packager.

- Every upstream glyph, outline point, composite, and variation delta.
- Every pre-existing cmap assignment; the five new symbols only add mappings.
- Default proportional-figure and proportional-currency shaping.
- Kerning, mark positioning, language support, upstream GSUB behavior,
  vertical metrics other than the Windows clipping bound noted above, and the
  `ss01` reading alternates.
